Dear Diary, 

What an unforgettable day!  I was busy collecting water from the well, when the sun mysteriously disappeared from the sky.

I looked up and saw smoke coming from the building cause 79 mount vesuvius began to erupt on august 24.Then volcanic stones and ashes covered the city.The eruption lasted for several days Poison gases from vesuvius choked many people  Then volcanic stones and ashes covered the city.When the eruption ended Pompeii was buried to a depth of 19 to 23 feet 6 to 7 meters but Many early diggers were treasure hunters who had no interest in history.that looks for treasure cest.
